RESOLUTION NO. 99-346
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CUPERTINO RECEIVING DECLARATION OF ELECTION
~SUL TS, GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION,
NOVEMBER 2, 1999
WHEREAS, the City of Cupertino conducted a general municipal election for the
purpose of electing two members of the City Council and submitting a ballot measure to
the voters of Cupertino; and
WHEREAS, said election was conducted on November 2, 1999; and
WHEREAS, the Registrar of Voters of the County of Santa Clara, State of
Califomia has conducted the official canvass of the returns of said election in accordance
with the appropriate provisions of the Election Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, the Registrar of Voters has certified that the attached is a full, true
and correct statement of the votes cast at said General Municipal Election;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Cupertino hereby receives the Certificate of Election Results, General Municipal
Election, November 2, 1999.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Cupeliino this 17th day of November, 1999, by the following vote:

I, Kathryn J. Ferguson, Registrar of Voters of the County of Santa Clara, State of
California, hereby declare that an election was held in the City of Cupertino on November
2, 1999 for the purpose of electing two (2) Members to the City Council of said City; and
to wit:
That the official canvass of the returns of said election was conducted by the Office
of the Registrar of Voters in accordance with the appropriate provisions of the Elections
Code of the State of California; and
That the Statement of Votes Cast, hereto attached, shows the whole number of
votes cast for each candidate for said Council Seats in the City of Cupertino, and in each
of the respective precincts; and that the totals shown for each candidate are true and
correct.
