VOTE NO on Measure 1...- - Don't rezone Cupertino's largest
open parcel for residential without a real vision for the
community's future, Stop Condotino.
FACT: Over 1,000 condo units have already been approved.
Vote No - Prevent further school overcrowding. Stop cutbacks
in city services and runaway city fees. Don't ruin Cupertino!
Nearly 5,000 Cupertino citizens signed petitions and fought a
developer lawsuit to give YOU the chance to vote NO on this
critical rezoning issue.
Vote NO - Stop School Overcrowding. Preserve Quality
Education,
~ ~A: ~7U: ~ ~
. More condos worsen school overcrowding, forcing our
schools to add even more portables, including portable CUPERTINO CITY CLERK
restrooms.
. High-density condos mean less overall tax revenue. High
schools will receive less money per student resulting in
loss of academic conrses,
. Declining school quality will hurt property values
throughout Cupertino.
Vote NO - High-Tech Companies like Apple Need Room to
Grow.
. Once industrial land is rezoned and condos built, the
potential for business growth is lost. Business and industry
provide core jobs and tax revenue for our city.
. Apple and other companies have requested that Cupertino
stop rezoning industrial land.
. KEEP JOBS IN CUPERTINO!
Vote NO - Preserve Cupertino's Business Taxes.
. High-tech development generates more net revenue than
condos to pay for city services.
. High-density housing shortchanges the citizens of
Cupertino; property taxes do not cover the cost of public
servIces.
. A solid tax base eliminates the need for more bond
measures and special property tax assessments.
Vote NO - Preserve Cupertino's Heritage and Environment.
. Stop more traffic gridlock.
. Stop urban build-up spreading all over Cupertino.
. Home values suffer when city services, businesses and
schools deteriorate.
Don't destroy Cupertino's future to benefit developers.
Join your neighbors - fight for Cupertino's future,
Vote NO on Measure
