Cupertino. Today, we must work hard to mai:_itain our quality of life ~

in challenging economic times. Our City provides vital services our
citizens expect: first class library, excellent senior center,
well-maintained parks, center for teens and essential infrastructure. CUPERTINO CITY CLERK
But the current economy threatens our Cit}~, schools and home
prices. We must support opportunity and innovation for our major
employers, for our high tech industry allows ('upertino to provide
superior services. More importantly, businesses provide resources and
infrastructure for our nationally recognized schools.
We must keep jobs in Cupertino. We need to help Apple build its
state of the art campus. Competition to attract top companies is fierce.
The recent loss of Symantec should be a catal;~st for Cupertino to
attract and retain smart, high tech businesses.
Our City must elect leaders who understan~j business and balanced
budgets. As a successful small business owner, I'm ready to serve all
of Cupertino. Other responsible leaders share my vision and support my
candidacy: Councilmember Dolly Sandoval, >=;leanor Watanabe of CEEF,
Rotarian Jim Walker, and Naomi Nakano-Matsumoto of WVCS among others.
