FINE ARTS COMMISSION SPECIAL MEETING
CALL TO ORDER
At 6:00 p.m., Chair Kasamsetty called the meeting to order via virtual teleconference.

CEREMONIAL MATTERS AND PRESENTATIONS
1. Subject: Mandatory KnowBe4 Training
Recommended Action: Receive a presentation by the City’s Infrastructure Division on the
Mandatory KnowBe4 Training
Commission received a presentation from Toan Quach, IT Technichan

OLD BUSINESS
2. Subject: Art Talks for the Community
Recommended Action: Finalize the Art Talk Series logistics for the months of November,
February, and May
Discussed logistics for the the November Art Talk. Talk will focus on performing arts and the
cultural insection of Indian dance and non-Indian dance forms. The target audience is all ages.
The emcee for the Art Talk will Chair Kasamsetty and Commissioner Rao.
Chair Kasasmetty motioned to approved the logistics as discussed for the November Art Talk.
Vice Chair Chokshi seconded the motion. Motion passed unamiously.
The February Art Talk will be reviewed and finalized at the November meeting.
3. Subject: Fiscal Year 2021-22 City Work Program Item
Recommended Action: Receive an update on the Fine Arts Commission Fiscal Year 2021-22 City
Work Program Item
Commission received an update from staff on the Fiscal Year 2021-22 City Work Program Item.

STAFF AND COMMISSION REPORTS
Staff reported that there are no submittals for the Artist Award Program.
COMMISSIONER ATTENDANCE AT UPCOMING MEETINGS AND EVENTS
Commissioners reviewed attendance for the upcoming Mayor’s meetings. Attendance will be as
follows:
October 13- Commissioner Tare
November 10- Commissioner Rao
December 8- Chair Kasamsetty

Chair Kasamsetty adjourned the meeting at 6:48 p.m. to the November 22, 2021 meeting at 6:30
p.m.
