Subject: Receive Subcommittee Report on Cyber Security Education from  Commissioners Soundararajan and Du.    Commissioner Du had the following updates:   20 registrations received on Eventbrite.    Commission Admin Marilyn Pavlov distributed flyers at various locations in the  City.   Vice Chair Soundararajan attended the Teen Commission regular meeting and  made a presentation about Student Cyber Fair   5 TICC  MEETING MINUTES September 5    After the updates, a Budget and logistics discussion ensued:   General flyer to be updated with new timeline and sent to all commissioners;  staff will update website.   Prizes will range 1st Prize: $200 (1), 2nd Prize: $100 (2), 3rd Prize: $50 (2), for a total $500  Budget  $500 prizes  $500 Food/drink  $600 signage  Eventbrite: $30  Total: $1,630 to be spent   STAFF AND COMMISSION REPORTS  3. Subject:  Cybersecurity Public Education 2023 event    Mayor Wei gave opening remarks.     Vice Chair Soundararajan introduced Commissioners in the audience.     Assistant to the City Manager Tom Chin began introductions of the Panel discussion.     Dr. May Wang is the CTO of the Internet of Things (IoT) at Palo Alto Networks, a multinational cybersecurity company. She co-founded Zingbox, acquired by Palo Alto Networks in 2019 for its AI-based IoT security solutions. Dr. Wang also serves on the board of directors for Cepton, a public autonomous driving company. Dr. Wang received her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.   Ramesh Nampally is the Senior Director of cloud infrastructure and platform engineering at Palo Alto Networks, a leader in cybersecurity company.   8 TICC  MEETING MINUTES September 16  Erin West has a passion for assisting victims and has served as a Deputy District Attorney in Santa Clara County, California for 25 years. She has worked for the past 8 years with the REACT high tech task force, nationally known for its arrests and prosecutions of SIM-swapping and recovery of cryptocurrency to victims of pig butchering scams. Ms. West leads the Crypto Coalition, a group of more than 1000 local, state, federal and international law enforcement agents who specialize in cryptocurrency investigation.   Tommy Yu is the Infrastructure Manager for the City of Cupertino and an 18-year veteran in municipal government IT operations. He received his master’s in computer information systems from Boston University and holds multiple certifications from Microsoft, the Project Management Institute, and the Computing Technology Industry Association. He is also a recent graduate of the Certified Government Chief Information Officer (CGCIO) program from Rutgers University.
