I have talked to County staff who have recently received Contiguity/Annexation Statements for new housing
proposed in Garden Gate. The staff is not willing to apply City development regulations to County properties.
So, from now on in Garden Gate,we will be requiring proposed demos/rebuilds to prezone, annex and obtain
building permits in the city.
Hopefully,we will be initiating a Garden Gate-wide prezoning in the next couple of months.
