I am a citizen of the United States. I am over the age of eighteen
years and I am not a party to or interested in the above entitled
matter. I am the Legal Advertising Clerk of the printer and
publisher of the Cupertino Courier, a newspaper published in the
English language in the City of Cupertino, County of Santa Clara,
State of California.
I declare that the Cupertino Courier is a newspaper of general
circulation as defined by the laws of the State of California as
determined by court decree dated November 13, 1956, Case
Number 100637. Said decree states that the Cupertino Courier is

The public is invited to a City of Cupertino City Council meeting on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at 6:45 pm at which the
Council will conduct a public hearing to consider whether to adopt amendments to the Cupertino General Plan to add
clarity to existing language in Chapter 3 (Land Use) in Figure LU-2, Policy LU-1.1 and Goal LU-13, and to add emphasis to
existing language in Chapter 6 (Environmental Resources and Sustainability). The Council will also consider whether to
adopt a new Chapter (Chapter 17.04) in Cupertino Municipal Code Title 17, Environmental Regulations, to adopt
environmental protection conditions of approval for construction, development, site improvement and other similar or
related activities.
The Planning Commission, at its regular meeting on September 28, 2021, voted 4-0-1 (Absent: Scharf) to recommend that
Council adopt the proposed changes to the General Plan and Municipal Code. Environmental Recommendation:
Recommend Adoption of an Addendum (Addendum #5) to 2014 Final General Plan Amendment, Housing Element Update,
and Associated Rezoning EIR (SCH No. 2014032007) and a Categorial Exemption.
