Dated: October 8, 2021 Public Notice Advertising Clerk Legal No. 0006613487 CITY OF CUPERTINO NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OBJECTIVE STANDARDS (APPLICATION NO(S): GPA-2021-001, MCA-2021-004) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at their regular meeting on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 6:45 p.m., the City Council of the City of Cupertino will conduct a public hearing to consider whether to adopt amend- ments to the Cupertino General Plan to add clarity to existing language in Chapter 3 (Land Use) in Figure LU-2, Policy LU-1.1 and Goal LU-13, and to add emphasis to existing language in Chapter 6 (Environmental Resources and Sustainability). The City Council will also consider whether to adopt a new Chapter (Chapter 17.04) in Cupertino Municipal Code Title 17, Environmental Regulations, to adopt environmental pro- tection conditions of approval for construction, development, site im- provement and other similar or related activities. The Planning Com- mission recommended approval of the proposed General Plan Amend- ments and the Municipal Code Amendment at a public hearing on Sep- tember 28, 2021 on a 4-0-1 vote (Absent: Scharf). Environmental Rec- ommendation: Adopt an Addendum (Addendum #5) to 2014 Final Gen- eral Plan Amendment, Housing Element Update, and Associated Rezoning EIR (SCH No. 2014032007) and a Categorial Exemption.
