DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL
10625 SOUTH FOOTHILL BOULEVARD (FOOTHILL MARKET)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at their special meeting on Thursday,
January 13, 2022 at 6:45 p.m., the City Council of the City of Cupertino
will conduct a public hearing to consider a development proposal to
demolish an existing commercial building and residential unit, remove
and replace four (4) protected trees, and construct a mixed -use devel-
opment consistent of 18 units (five apartments, five single-family
homes, and eight townhomes), and 4,500 square feet of commercial
space. (Application No(s): EA-2018-06, Z-2018-02, DP-2018-07, TM-2018-
04, U-2018-04, ASA-2018-09, TR-2018-39; Applicant(s): Dan Shaw (SCR En-
terprises); Location 10625 South Foothill Boulevard; APN#s 342-16-087, -
088). The project requires a zoning map change to allow residential
uses, associated site and landscaping improvements, tree removals,
use permit, development permit, and a tentative map. A Mitigated Neg-
ative Declaration is proposed and all environmental documents are
available at City Hall or online at: www.cupertino.org/canyoncrossing.
On October 28, 2021, the Environmental Review Committee recom-
mended on a 5-0 vote the City Council adopt the Mitigated Negative
Declaration. The Planning Commission conducted a public hearing at
its regular meeting on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 and recommended
on a 5-0 vote that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 6937 adopting
the Mitigated Negative Declaration. In addition, the Planning Commis-
sion recommended on a 5-0 vote that the City Council approve the Zon-
ing Map Amendment (Resolution No. 6938), Development Permit (Reso-
lution No. 6939), Tentative Map (Resolution No. 6940), Use Permit (Reso-
lution No. 6942), Architectural and Site Approval (Resolution No. 6941),
and Tree Removal Permit (Resolution No. 6943). If you have any ques-

.org. In accordance with Government Code 54953(e), this will be a tel-
econference meeting without a physical location to help stop the
