years and I am not a party to or interested in the above entitled
matter. I am the Legal Advertising Clerk of the printer and
publisher of the Cupertino Courier, a newspaper published in the
English language in the City of Cupertino, County of Santa Clara,
State of California.

FIRST READING ORDINANCE NO.21-2222
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at its regular
meeting of Tuesday, February 2, 2021, the
Cupertino City Council conducted the first
reading of Ordinance No. 21-2222: "An Ordi-
nance of the City Council of the City of
Cupertino Adding Chapter 2.100 ("Regulation
of Lobbying Activities") to Title 2 ("Administra-
tion and Personnel") of the Cupertino Munici-
pal Code," which includes a finding that adop-
tion of the ordinance is exempt from the Cali-
fornia Environmental Quality Act." Ayes: Paul,
Chao, Moore, Wei, and Willey. Noes: None. Ab-
stain: None. Absent: None. The second reading
is scheduled for Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at
6:45 p.m. In accordance with Governor
Newsom's Executive Order No-29-20, this will
be a teleconference meeting without a physi-
cal location. Complete copies may be request-
ed by contacting the City Clerk's office by
email at cityclerka@cupertino.org or by tele-
phone at 408-777-3223. All interested parties
are invited to attend the teleconference and
address the City Council. Instructions for par-
ticipation will be published in the Council
agenda. If you wish to challenge the City Coun-
cil's action in court, you may be limited to rais-
ing only those issues you or someone else
raised at the public hearing described in this
notice, or in written or electronic correspond-
ence delivered to the City of Cupertino City
Hall at, or prior to, the meeting. IMPORTANT
NOTICE: Please be advised that pursuant to
Cupertino Municipal Code 2.08.100 written
communications sent to the Cupertino City
Council, Commissioners or City staff concern-
ing a matter on the agenda are included as
supplemental material to the agendized item.
These written communications are accessible
to the public through the City's website and
