years and I am not a party to or interested in the above entitled
matter. I am the Legal Advertising Clerk of the printer and

English language in the City of Cupertino, County of Santa Clara,
State of California.

FIRST READING ORDINANCE NO.21-2225
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at its regular
meeting of Tuesday, March 16, 2021, the
Cupertino City Council conducted the first
reading of Ordinance No. 21-2225 as amended:
"An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of
Cupertino Amending City Cade to add 19.102:
Glass and Lighting Standards and to Amend
Chapter 19.40 Residential Hillside (RHS) Zones,
Chapter 19.60 General Commercial (GC) Zones,
Chapter 19.72 Light Industrial (ML) and Indus-
trial Park (MP) Zones, and Chapter 19.124 Park-
ing Regulations to Implement Bird -safe and
Dark Sky Policies." (Attachment A) which in-
cludes a finding that the proposed actions are
exempt from CEQA. Ayes: Paul, Chao, Moore,
Wei, and Willey. Noes: None. Abstain: None.
Absent: None. The second reading is sched-
uled for Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at 6:45 p.m. In
accordance with Governor Newsom's Execu-
tive Order No-29-20, this will be a teleconfer-
ence meeting without a physical location.
Complete copies may be requested by con-
tacting the City Clerk's office by email at city
clerka@cupertino.org or by telephone at 408-
777-3223. All interested parties are invited to
attend the teleconference and address the
City Council. Instructions for participation will
be published in the Council agenda. If you wish
to challenge the City Council's action in court,
you may be limited to raising only those issues
you or someone else raised at the public hear-
ing described in this notice, or in written or
electronic correspondence delivered to the
City of Cupertino City Hall at, or prior to, the
meeting. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please be ad-
vised that pursuant to Cupertino Municipal
Code 2.08.100 written communications sent to
the Cupertino City Council, Commissioners or
City staff concerning a matter on the agenda
are included as supplemental material to the
agendized item. These written communica-
tions are accessible to the public through the
City's website and kept in packet archives. You
are hereby admonished not to include any per-
