Principal clerk of the printer and publisher of the San Jose Mercury News Legal No. 0006586539 LEGAL NOTICE CITY OF CUPERTit SECOND READING ORDINANCE NO.21-2227 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at its regular meeting of Tuesday, June 1, 2021, the Cupertino City Council conducted the second reading of Ordinance No. 21-2227: "An Ordi- nance of the City Council of the City of Cupertino amending City Code Chapter 10.90 of Title 10 (Public Peace, Safety, and Morals) to prohibit smoking in multi -unit housing and cer- tain outdoor areas," with multi -unit housing /residence defined for the purposes of this Or- dinance to include attached single family homes and other property containing two or more attached units, which includes a finding that adoption of the ordinance is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act. Ayes: Paul, Chao, Moore, Wei and Willey. Noes: None. Abstain: None. Absent: None. This ordinance was enacted and will go into effect thirty (30) days from that date.
