of general circulation printed and published daily in the City of San
Jose, County of Santa Clara, State of California as determined by

SUBSTANTIAL AMENDMENT TO THE FY 2019-20
ACTION PLAN AND FY 2015-20 CONSOLIDATED
PLAN TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR EMERGENCY
ASSISTANCE AND SANITATION SERVICES TO
ASSIST UNHOUSED MEMBERS OF THE WOLFE
ROAD ENCAMPMENT AND TO PROVIDE FUND-
ING FOR THE SENIOR MEAL DELIVERY PRO-
GRAM, WHICH ARE ELIGIBLE DEPARTMENT OF
HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD)
ACTIVITIES IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at its regular
meeting on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at 6:45 p.m.,
the Cupertino City Council will conduct a pub-
lic hearing to consider the Substantial Amend-
ment to the FY 2019-20 Action Plan and FY
2015-20 Consolidated Plan to provide funding
for Emergency Assistance and Sanitation Serv-
ices to Assist Unhoused Members of the Wolfe
Road Encampment and to provide funding for
the Senior Meal Delivery Program. The 2019-20
Action Plan is a one-year plan which describes
CDBG eligible programs, projects, and activi-
ties to be undertaken with funds expected dur-
ing the FY 2019-20 (July 1, 2019-June 30, 2020)
and their relationship to the priority housing,
homeless, and community development needs
of the City. The 2015-2020 Consolidated Plan is
a five-year plan which outlines the City's hous-
ing and community development needs and
provides an action plan on how the City in-
tends to use its federal funds to address those
needs. Federal regulations require that the
Amended 2019-20 Annual Action Plan and
Amended 2015-20 Consolidated Plan be made
available community review for five days at

This will be a teleconference meeting with no
physical location. Members of the public will
be able to observe and address the meeting
telephonically or electronically from the City's
website through procedures that will be de-
tailed in the published meeting agenda. If you
wish to challenge the City Council's action in
court, you may be limited to raising only those
issues you or someone else raised at the pub-
lic hearing described in this notice, or in writ-
ten correspondence delivered to the City of
Cupertino City Hall, 10300 Torre Avenue,
Cupertino, CA 95014 at, or prior to the public
hearing. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please be ad-
vised that pursuant to Cupertino Municipal
Code 2.08.100 written communications sent to
the Cupertino City Council, Commissioners or
City staff concerning a matter on the agenda
are included as supplemental material to the
agendized item. These written communica-
tions are accessible to the public through the
City's website and kept in packet archives. You
are hereby admonished not to include any per-
sonal or private information in written commu-
nications to the City that you do not wish to
make public; doing so shall constitute a waiver
of any privacy rights you may have on the in-
formation provided to the City.
