1. BidAcceplanee.
1.1 Due Date and Tune. The City of Cupertino ("City") will accept
sealed bids for its McCtepan Road Sepparated BikewaysrPhase 2
project ("Prnject"), by or belnre June ]4, 2020 at 2 pm.

2.1 Location and Pauription, The Project is located an McClellan
Road/Pacifica. Drive betveen South Stelling Road and Torre
Avenue, and is described as follows: The installation of type IV
protected bike lanes,
2.2 Time for Compfelion. The planned time frame for commence,
ment and completion of construction of the Project is; The project
must be completed within 60 working da)'s from the start date set
forth in the Notice to Proceed, City antitiWesthat the Work Avill
begin on or about August 3, 2020, but the anticipated start date is
provided solely for convenience and is neither certain or binding.
2.3 Estimated Cost. The estimated construction cost Is31MD.000.
3. License and Registration Requirements.
3.1 License. This Project requires avalid California contractor's
license for the following classifications); Class A -General
Engineering.
3,2 DIR Re istraticim City may not accept a Bid Proposal from or
enter i nto the Contract with a bidder, without proof that the bidder
Is registered with the California Department of industrial Relations
("DIR") to perform public work pursuant to Labor Code section
1725.5, subject to limited legal exceptions.
4, Contract Documents. The plans, speclkatiorrs, bid forms and
contract documents for the Project, and any addenda thereto
("Contract Documents-) are available in electronic form only, and

journal.
S. Bid Securily. The Bid Proposal must be accompanied by bid
security at ten percent of the maximum bid amount, in the form of
a cashier's or certified check made payable to City, or a bid bond
executed by a surety licensed to do business In the State of
