years and I am not a party to or interested in the above entitled
matter. I am the Legal Advertising Clerk of the printer and
publisher of the Cupertino Courier, a newspaper published in the
English language in the City of Cupertino, County of Santa Clara,
State of California.
I declare that the Cupertino Courier is a newspaper of general
circulation as defined by the laws of the State of California as

PETITION FOR RECONSIDERATION
RM-2017-39 (TSAI RESIDENCE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at their regular
meeting on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at 6:45
p.m., the City Council of the City of Cupertino
will conduct a public hearing to 1) consider a
Petition for Reconsideration of its decision of
April 21, 2020 to determine if it meets the re-
quirements of Cupertino Municipal Code
(CMC) Section 2.08.096, and if reconsideration
is granted, 2) conduct a hearing to reconsider
Council's decision of April 21, 2020 denying an
appeal and upholding the Planning Commis-
sion's approval of a Minor Residential Permit
to allow a second -story balcony. (Application:
RM-2017-39; Applicant: Francis Kun (Tsai resi-
dence); Project Location: 21865 San Fernando
Avenue; A.P.N.: 357-15-043; Appellant(s):
Shayjan Huang and Eric and Cindy Fang);
Based upon the new evidence and grounds
proffered by Petitioner, if Council determines
that the Petition meets the requirements of
Cupertino Municipal Code section 2.08.096, and
approving or denying the Petitioner's appeal.
At a regular meeting of the City of Cupertino's
Planning Commission held on November 12,
2019, the Planning Commission moved to ap-
prove the application(s) per the Draft
Resolution(s) by a vote of 4-0-1 (Takahashi ab-
sent). For additional information or to send

ernor Newsom's Executive Order No-29-20,
this will be a teleconference meeting without
