Dear Venktesh and Abha Shukla,
This letter confirms the decision of the Planning Commission, given at the meeting of
February 27, 2024 approving the Hillside Exception (EXC-2023-006) to add a porch and
roof deck, as well as landscape modifications at an existing hillside property on a
prominent rigeline and made a determination the project is exempt from CEQA
pursuant to CEQA guideline section 15303, located at 22777 San Juan Rd., according to
Planning Commission Resolution No. 2024-01.
Please be aware that if this Permit is not used within a two-year period, it shall expire on
February 27, 2026.
Also,please note that an appeal of this decision can be made within 14 calendar days from
the date of the decision. If this happens, you will be notified of a public hearing, which
will be scheduled before the City Council.
