Dear Steve Locke,
This letter confirms the decision of the Planning Commission, given at the meeting of May
28, 2024 approving the Sign Exception (EXC-2023-mO) with the modification of the scope
to only allow for a ground sign with LED lighting and three wall signs totaling 270 square
feet in area with two non-illuminated logo signs at an existing service station and made a
determination the project is exempt from CEQA pursuant to CEQA guideline section
'J5301, located at 10490 S De Anza Blvd., according to Planning Commission Resolution
No. 2024-09.
Please be aware that if this Permit is not used within a one-year period, it shall expire on
May 28, 2025.
Also, please note that an appeal of this decision can be made within 14 calendar days from
the date of the decision. If this happens, you win be notified of a public hearing, which
win be scheduled before the City Council.
