As a Councilmember, I fought to make Main Street Cupertino a vibrant hub. I have the expertise to negotiate with the developers of Vallco to make it a true destination with entertainment, dining, and retail, while bringing new revenue to help us maintain city services. I'll promote housing for teachers and families, which is vital for strengthening our schools. As your Mayor, I launched a groundbreaking bike/pedestrian plan to ensure safer routes for our kids. I also introduced SV Hopper shuttles to serve students, seniors, and commuters. I'm proud to have led the charge for Silicon Valley Clean Energy, bringing us less expensive and greener electricity since 2017. As Board Member and Chair of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District, I helped secure a deal with the Lehigh cement plant to dramatically improve our air quality. As a Trustee for the Fremont Union High School District, I fought to maintain electives, expand transportation options, modernize campuses, and enhance climate education. I'm a seasoned high-tech executive, a scout leader, a robotics mentor, and a Stanford graduate. I'm resident-focused and don't accept developer funding.
