Who Are We

What We Do
Review, monitor, and recommend on transportation
matters, including bicycle and pedestrian traffic,
parking, education, and recreation.
•Monitor bicycle transportation plan and pedestrian transportation
guidelines.
•Receive public input on bike/ped transportation and infrastructure.
•Recommend implementation of roadway and transportation
improvements.
•Recommend funding for bicycle and pedestrian transportation
projects.
Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the every month at 7
p.m. in Quinlan Conference Room.
What We’ve Done
•Recommended approval of separated, on-street bike
lanes for cyclists at Lawson Middle School.
•Recommended adoption of Vision Zero Action plan.
•The commission had worked closely with staff to
deliver that plan.
•Reviewed and provided input on McClellan/De Anza
intersection (McClellan Separated Bikeway Phase 3).
•Reviewed and provided input on De Anza Blvd
Buffered Bike Lane Project.
•Coordinated the Bike to Work Day energizer station.
•Assisted with 10th Anniversary Bike Fest.
What We Plan On Doing
•Will work with staff on development of Active Transportation Plan.
•Support the 11th Cupertino Fall Bike Fest.
- Saturday, September 28, 9am to 1pm at Civic Center Plaza
•Review and provide input on Bollinger Road Corridor study.
•Support efforts to install bike racks throughout the City.
•Evaluate bike/ped/vehicle operations along Rodrigues Ave.
•Monitor construction for the Tamien Innu (formerly 280 trail).
