Emails received before the agenda is posted are not considered as written communication for the upcoming council meeting. Due to a change in the implementation of how written communication is collected for the upcoming council meeting, your email will not be included in the official record unless a councilmember forwards it to the City Clerk. Thus, I am forwarding it. Dear City Clerk, Please enter the attached communication as written communication for the upcoming council meeting from a councilmember, per CMC 2.08.100. I am submitting this comment at the request of my constituents to ensure that community voices are included in written communications of council meetings as requested, rather than at the discretion of councilmembers, which might inadvertently leave out some minority voices. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Dear Mayor Mohan, Vice Mayor Fruen, and Distinguished Cupertino City Council Members: I spoke during the Sept 17 first reading of Ordinance No. 24-2264 regarding extending restricted parking beyond Ann Arbor Court to segments of Ann Arbor Ave and Lauretta Dr. I am one of the 9 petition signers that lives within this zone and am most grateful for your support on this ordinance! By supporting our petition, my neighbors and I will regain some peace on our street, parking spots in front of our homes for our cars and guests' vehicles, and space to put out our Recology bins.
