A RESOWl'ION OF '!HE CI'I'Y CXXJNCIL OF THE CITY OF CIJPERI'INO
STATING INTENl'ION 'TO ABANOON A roRl'ION OF '!HE FORMER
WILSON sæCJOL SITE I.OC'ATED IN '!HE VICINITY OF PRICE AVENUE
AND SOUIH BIANEY AVENUE AND SEITING TIME AND PIACE OF PUBLIC
HEARING 'TO OONSIDER AND TAKE ANY ACI'ION
WHERE'AS, that portion of a City park known as wilson Park, located in
the vicinity of Price Avenue and South Blaney Avenue, and more
particularly described in description and map attached hereto and made
part hereof as Exhibits "A" and "B", respectively, has not been used by
the public for park purposes; and
WHERE'AS, the City council elects to proceed pursuant to the provisions
of the Municipal Park Aban:1orunent Law of 1939; and
NOO, 'IHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the city council hereby declares
its intention to aban:lon the aforesaid portion of city park.
BE IT FUR1'HER RESOLVED:
1. '!bat the 7th day of May, 1990, at 6:45 p.m., in the Council
Chamber, City Hall, 10300 Torre Avenue, CUpertino, California, is the t:i1ne
and place fixed for hearing on the above proposed aban:iorunent;
2. '!bat the aforesaid date is not less than 30 days from passage of
this resolution pursuant to law;
3. That the City Clerk shall cause a certified CIJfJY of this
resolution to be published in the marmer prescribed by law, and shall
cause certified copies to be posted alon; ' the line of said property
proposed to be aban:J.oned at least 10 days before the date of hearing and
no =re than 100 feet apart with a nù.niJnum of 4 being posted.
