Mission
A vibrant community fueled by a dynamic and
diverse arts and culture ecosystem.
Elevating Silicon Valley’s creative culture.
Vision
The number of 501c3 arts
organizations grew from 659
to 1063 over the past ten
years.
The collective budgets of the
entire Silicon Valley arts
ecosystem are less than two
to three large budget arts
organizations in other places
like New York, San Francisco
and Chicago.
While large budget
arts organizations in
other cities grew in
number, San Jose’s
contracted and
geographically
dispersed within the
last decade.
•Build the capacity of our arts and culture ecosystem
•Raise the visibility and voices of our creative sector
•Increase access to the arts for high-need communities

under-resourced arts ecosystem, with a particular
emphasis on arts organizations led by, employing, and
serving communities disproportionately impacted by
limited access to resources.
1.Provide access to arts experiences to historically under-
served audiences or population.
