all times hereinafter mentioned affiant was and still is a citizen of
the United States, over the age of eighteen years, and not a party
to or interested in the above entitled proceedings; and was at and
during all said times and still is the principal clerk of the printer and
publisher of the San Jose Mercury News, a newspaper of general
circulation printed and published daily in the City of San Jose,
County of Santa Clara, State of California as determined by the

NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION
FOR THE LAWRENCE-MITTY PARK AND TRAIL PROJECT
The City of Cupertino has directed the preparation of a draft Mitigated
Negative Declaration (MND) for the Lawrence-Mitty Park and Trail
Project, prepared pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act.
The City is implementing a project. The project consists of the develop-
ment of a new public park and extension of the existing Saratoga Creek
Trail on an approximately 7.8 -acre site, located along the west side of
Lawrence Expressway, south of Interstate 280 and adjacent to
Saratoga Creek in the City of Cupertino. The purpose of the project is to
increase access to park space on the east side of the City of Cupertino
and to prioritize the extension the Saratoga Creek Trail northward to
Stevens Creek Boulevard.
Public review of the draft MND and supporting documents will begin on
February 12, 2024, and will continue for 30 days, until March 13. 2024.
The document will be available for review at the following locations:
