RESOLUTION 6069
OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO APPROVING THE
REMOVAL OF FOUR REDWOOD TREES AT A SINGLE FAMILY CLUSTER
DEVELOPMENT.
SECTION I: PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Application No.: 06-DIR-00
Applicant: Michael Heckrotte (Ridgecrest Homeowners Association)
Location: 21975 - 22079 McClellan Road
SECTION II: FINDINGS
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Cupertino received an application to
removal of six specimen size trees and replace them with other trees, as described in this
Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the applicant has met the burden of proof required to support said application; and
has satisfied the following requirements:
1) The trees due to their location can cause significant damage to the structures and
improvements. Two of the trees are on slopes and are damaging retaining walls. Four of the
trees were planted too close to structures according to the City Arborist.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That after careful consideration of maps, facts, exhibits, testimony and other evidence submitted
in this matter, the Director's referral of a Tree Removal is hereby approved; and
That the subconclusions upon which the findings and conditions specified in this Resolution are
based and contained in the Public Hearing record concerning Application 06-DIR-00, as set forth
in the Minutes of the Planning Commission Meeting of December 11, 2000, are incorporated by
reference herein.
SECTION III: CONDITIONS ADMINISTERED BY THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

1. APPROVED EXHIBITS
Approval is based on the site plan entitled "06-DIR-00" dated December 11, 2000.
Replacement trees shall be a minimum of 24-inch box. The number and species of the
replacement trees are based on the approved site plan.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of December 2000, at a Regular Meeting of the
Planning Commission of the City of Cupertino by the following roll call vote:
