Subj: Minor Modification of 5-U-77 to allow an exterior door, landscape and entry
improvements at 10020 N. De Anza Boulevard
Chapter 19.132 of the Cupertino Municipal Code allows for administrative approval of .
minor changes to a project. The Director reports his decision to the City Council and
Planning Commission in time to allow any Councilmember or Planning Commissioner to
appeal the decision within fourteen calendar days.
Application:
Minor Modification of 5-U-77 to allow an exterior door, landscape and entry
improvements at 10020 N. De Anza Boulevard
Description:
The applicant, Gerard McGee, representing Hunter Properties/South Bay Development, is
proposing a separate, double-door entrance in the "Comerica" building for Republic Title
which moved over from one ofthe recently demolished office buildings on Stevens Creek
Boulevard. Entry improvements are also proposed which include additional landscaping
and a new concrete walkway that includes textures and color to match the pedestrian
features of the approved Hunter/South Bay office building under construction on Stevens
Creek Boulevard.
Action:
Director of Community Development deems the modification minor and approves the
new building entrance and entry improvements in accordance with the enclosed plan set
titled "Old Republic Title Company", dated 7/23/98 and 8/20/98 and consisting of three
sheets labeled A2, A3 and PL-1.
This approval of the modification is effective September 3, 1998. The fourteen calendar
day appeal period will expire on September 17, 1998.
