Ordinance 37ORDINANCE N0. 37 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CUPEFs.TINO AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 001 OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO ESTABLISHING THE MEASURE OF THE REASONABLE HEIGHT FROM WHICH HOLLOW UNIT MASONRY CELLS MAY BE POURED. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 001 is hereby amended by addition thereto of the following: Section la. "The maximum height cells may be filled time shall be ~+8 inches." Section 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an urgency measure, and shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its adoption. The facts constituting such urgency are as follows: The unregulated erection or construction of buildings presently in process within the City require an immediate precise definition of the matters referred to herein as a guide to those engaged in building and to protect the citizens of Cupertino particularly with reference to public structures. Section 3. POSTING CLAUSE Copy of this Ordinance shall be posted in at least three (3) public places in the City of Cupertino within fifteen (15) days after its passage as provided in Section 36933 of the Government Code of the State of California.
