BACKGROUND
The League of Women Voters Cupertino-Sunnyvale is a nonprofit, nonpartisan political
organization. Pursuant to the City of Cupertino's facility use policy, adopted by the City Council, a
nonprofit organization providing a service to the community shall receive a waiver of fees relative
to their event as has been done in previous years.

Staff recommends that City Council waive the room rental fees in the approximate amount of
$300.00.

Community Hall on May 12, 2010 from b-9:30pm to hold a candidate forum for the District Attorney
and the County Sherrif. Cupertino residents will benefit by being able to hear the candidates in person
and question them on issues of interest to them. We hope you will be able to grant this waiver for May
12th.
