artscouncil Panelist Score Review
silicon valley
The City of Cupertino Total Score: 76.32
Strengths
- Great example of city -artist collaboration
- Appreciate the range of programs
- Marketing plan was well- covered
- Impressive background of granting /funding for their arts education program
- Impressed by the number of people that came out to see the production, and the number they're anticipating
- Staff /board longevity
Concerns
- No budget notes
- Didn't encourage much volunteerism
- Cannot gauge of they use local talent, didn't get a sense as to how much of a community organization it is
- Would like to see demographics - what's the makeup of the attendees. There wasn't enough information to
demonstrate impact.
Suggestions
- Include more history on how the relationship (city- artist) started
- More information re. how many people are coming, getting involved, how this develops relationship in the
community.
- For Community Arts Fund, need to explain how this is a real community- driven project
INTAKE NOTES:
- Next time, send in seven copies of List of Support Materials with description of DVD on back side of list of printed
materials. That way, the panel will know what they will be reviewing. (We made copies)
