The policylists selectedclassificationstoreceivea specifiedmonthlyallowance,includingtwo classificationsthatarecurrently vacant: ExecutiveAssistanttotheCity Managerat $200.00,and HumanResourcesDirectorat $250.00 (AttachmentA).Because both oftheseclassifications only usetheirpersonalvehiclesforCity business on an occasion basis,itisrecommendedthat these vacantclassifications beremovedfromthelist ofclassificationstoreceiveamonthly AutomobileAllowance.Asanalternative,compensationfor occasional usewill be providedfor throughmileagereimbursement. ThosepersonswhooccasionallyarerequiredtousetheirpersonalautomobilesforCity businessshallbereimbursedforsuchuseatanappropriaterateestablishedbytheCityCouncil.
