I love "Alternative C -2," but I have one minor modification for you to consider. Blackberry Farm Golf suffers from being pretty boring. By connecting the ponds, we could have the added fun and challenge of hitting over water (see below). To cross, you could use the bridge located between #5 and 7 that is no longer needed. fro c * : ■ ` ■ o ` 2 --, 941 tee 4 Pond -.' , t . . ation . #5 - No change , ' #5 tee New irrigation: We need to talk with staff ijefore the new irrigation is designed because presently the wind carries the water onto our hill, and we pay to have the weeds removed 2 -3 times a year. Maybe the sprinklers around the fences could be less powerful than the sprinklers out in the middle of the fairways? I don't know... Also, I'd like you to consider removing thirsty grass wherever possible in favor of clusters of drought resistant plants. For example, elevated tee boxes (holes #2 and 3) don't really need grass around the base. Think Palm Desert courses. Mixing up the features will spruce the place up a bit, and make it a more desirable place to play, aka revenue. Thank you, Susan Sievert
