❑ Noise
o The equipment cabinets will generate noise constantly
o The noise consultant recommends that the equipment enclosure fence be 9'6"
high
o The nearest residence will have an interior noise level of less than 42 decibels
o If, in the future, there are noise complaints or in operation, the decibel levels are
higher than the Ordinance allows, additional baffling measures will need to be
installed
❑ Trees/ Landscaping
o Non -native trees will be removed
o Replanting will occur along the fence edge and to screen equipment cabinets
o The monopine design will blend with the existing trees on site
o Landscape screening will be planted to obscure the fencing
❑ Geologic
o Property is near 2 segments of the Monte Vista fault line
o The site is built on a filled slope
o The consulting geologist recommends re- engineering the fill to ensure a stable
foundation
o The consulting geologist wants to review additional structural
calculations /analysis for seismic and wind loads at the construction phase of the
project
❑ Additional Discussion
o Faux bark and pine needles will camouflage the antenna pole
o The HOA supports the project as they currently have no cell phone coverage
o Vinyl slates will be inserted in the existing chain link fence
o The EMF an RF reports indicates the emissions are well below Federal safety
standards
o An RF testing requirement should be part of the condition of approval for the
project

upgrades at Quinlan Center, installation of a traffic signal battery back -up
system), would be CEQA exempt
o Repairs /renovations and minor maintenance of existing facilities projects -
(rehabilitation of irrigation systems at the Stocklemeir and Black Berry Farm
properties; including well renovation, cleaning existing ponds and modifying the
8th tee) would be CEQA exempt
o Overall projects in total will not pose any significant environmental impacts
o The irrigation project and Stevens Creek Corridor projects may require additional
