Sacramento, CA 95814
To Whom It May Concern:
The City of Cupertino understands that the Commission is on track to make its final decision on
August 15, 2011.
According to the final draft map received July 28, 2011, all of Cupertino is located in the same
Congressional and State Senate districts but not in the State Assembly district. In the State
Assembly district, our city of 58, 300 will be divided into two districts with a 92% / 8% split.
The City of Cupertino respectfully requests that the Commission keep all of Cupertino together in
the State Assembly district, and use the same boundary lines in the Assembly district as were used
for the Congressional and State Senate districts.
Sincerely,
Gilbert Wong
Mayor
