DRC Reso 242 ASA-2006-16 CITY OF CUPERTINO 10300 Torre Avenue Cupertino, California 95014 RESOLUTION NO. 242 � OF THE DESIGN REVIEW COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO APPROVING AN ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL FOR A REVISED PARKING STRUCTURE DESIGN FOR AN APPROVED 60,000 SQUARE FOOT OFFICE BUILDING AT 10495 NORTH DE ANZA BOULEVARD SECTION I: PROTECT DESCRIPTION Application No.: ASA-2006-16 Applicant: Cliff Chang Location: 10495 North De Anza Boulevard SECTION II: FINDINGS WHEREAS, the City Council has directed the Design Review Committee to review the design of a parking structure for an approved office building project; WHEREAS, the City Council has provided design direction to the Design Review Committee that it may use to improve the design of the structure and its spatial relationships to the adjacent office building, known as the Mariani Business Center; WHEREAS, the Design Review Committee has reviewed the revised garage design; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That after careful consideration of maps, facts, exhibits, testimony and other evidence submitted in this matter, the Design Review Committee approves the architectural and site approval, file no. ASA-2006-16, subject to the conditions, which are enumerated in this Resolution. That the subconclusions upon which the findings and conditions specified in this resolution are based and contained in the public hearing record concerning Application ASA-2006-16 set forth in the Minutes of the Design Review Committee meeting of, September 21, 2006, and are incorporated by reference as though fully set forth herein. SECTION III. CONDITIONS ADMINISTERED BY THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPT. 1. APPROVED EXHIBITS Approval is based on the plan set titled: "Any Mountain Office Building, Site Plan (Scheme B)", consisting of three pages labeled A1, A2.2 and A2.3 and dated 8/28/06, except as may be amended by conditions in this resolution. LANDSCAPING Prior to building permit approval, the applicant shall submit a detailed landscaping plan subject to the review and approval of the Director of Community Development. 3. LIGHTING Any parking structure lighting shall be designed to not cast glare onto adjacent properties.
