The League of Women Voters Cupertino-Sunnyvale is a nonprofit, nonpartisan political organization,
This waiver is consistent with waivers for past candidate's forums and is pursuant to the City's Facility
Use Policy,
ST AFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that City Council waive the room rental fees in the approximate amount of $280.00.

The League of Women Voters of Cupertino-Sunnyvale is requesting a waiver of the fee for use of the
Community Hall on Oct 25, 2006 from 6-9:30pm to hold a candidate forum for the Fremont Union High
School Candidates. There is a lot of interest due to the recent events that happened at the Fremont High
School. Cupertino residents will benefit by being able to hear the candidates in person and question them
on issues of interest to them. We hope you will be able to grant this waiver for Oct 25th.
