' .t BALSOA • Thursday, April 13, 2006 10:55 AM Mm d Ole RESOLUTION NO. 06-024 r A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO ORDERING STREET NAME CHANGE WITHIN THE CITY OF CUPERTINO PURSUANT TO SECTION 5026 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA; CHANGE A PORTION OF STELLA ROAD AND A PORTION OF PALOMA ROAD TO BALBOA ROAD WHEREAS, hearing on Resolution of Intention No. 06-006 was held on January 17, 2006, at'a regular meeting of the City Council at 10350 Torre Avenue, Cupertino, California; WHEREAS, it appears that notice thereof was duly given as required by law; and WHEREAS, from the evidence presented, both oral and documentary, it appears to be in the best interests of the City to change the street name of a portion of Stella Road and a portion of Paloma Road to Balboa Road. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: 1. That any and all protests against said name change be and hereby are overruled and denied. ® 2. That the name of portion of Stella Road and a portion of Paloma Road, in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made part hereof, is hereby changed to Balboa Road. y. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City Clerk be and hereby is instructed and directed to cause a certified copy of this resolution, attested to and sealed with the official seal of the City, to be recorded with the County Recorder of the County of Santa Clara, California, forthwith.
