RECOMMENDATION: Drill into and pressure treat'the infested woodwork using
the E.P.A. approved Whitmire Wood Injection System(R) with P.T. 270 Dursban
insecticide.

NOTE: Some wood members in the subarea have been somewhat damaged by
termites. It is this inspectors opinion that the extent of damage does not
warrant repairs at this time.
AL1, SHOWER:
Item 2A: The prescribed water test revealed the shower pan in the master ba )ha
ruptured, allowing water to leak into the adjacent wood framing. This
fungus (rot) to form in the woodwork.
RECOMMENDATION: Remove the base and all wall tile, replace any damaged
within the perimeter of the shower walls. Install a new regulation paall new ceramic tile properly set into a fresh, reinforced ' mortar ballote: Bid does not include any cleaning, painting, texturing or repaadjacent wall or ceiling surfaces that may or may not be needed afte

and we will not be able to reinstall the existing unit.
RECOMMENDATION: Install a new tempered safety glass unit. (Note: Owner is
advised to direct water away from enclosure when bathing and have the unit
frequently caulked/sealed.)

Item 3A: The top of the building's foundation is only marginally higher than the
exterior earth level. Concerned parties are advised to not raise the earth
level during gardening operations.

water line. This appears to be from a leaky water line.
RECOMMENDATION: Engage other trades to inspect and repair these lines as

has existed for quite' some time with no ill effects and in our opinion no
revisions are needed at this time. We suggest the area be periodically

Item 7A: Attic space was visually inspected from the access opening only. There is
. insulation covering the ceiling joists and we did not enter the area because
of possibly incurring damage to the ceiling.
RECOMMENDATION: Upon request, a bid will be submitted to install wood planks
over the insulation/oeiling joists to allow safer entry and further
inspection. Any findings would be issued in a supplemental report.

Item 8A: NOTE: Storage, etc. , against garage walls was not moved during this
inspection. Owner would need to move storage away from walls if further

This appears to have been caused by leakage from shower.
