Scope of Work
Construct (2) non-bearing walls of 2"x4" studs on 16"
centers with 1/"x &'headers over door openings. Treat-
ed floor plates shall be attached to the concrete
floor with (8) 1/2" expansion anchors located as shown
on elevation drawing. New walls (N) shall be covered
with 5/8" type "X" gypsum board. Existing walls are
5/8" type "X" gypsum board. Ceiling plate shall be
attached to the concrete ceiling with 22" explosively
driven nails at an approximate rate of one nail per
32 -inches of wall run. Fire stops, 2"x4"s, shall be
installed 4' above floor plates.

Contractor shall field verify the integrity of existing rated construction/ assemblies and reston
repair as necessary as part of this work. Penetrations in rated walls/ceilings shall be protec
by listed fire rated assemblies (dampers, doors, caulking, fire stopping material etc.). UFC 1
At time of final inspection, the tenant shall provide to the fire department a labeled emergent
access key for placement in the building fire department key box. UFC 902.4
This plan check does not permit the use, storage or dispensing of hazardous materials, operatic
or waste. The tenant shall provide a completed HMIS to the fire department's hazardous
materials specialist for review and comment. Furthermore, a CLOSURE PERMIT is required p
to terminating the storage of hazardous materials at a permitted storage facility. Demolition
any facility/storage area that previously stored hazardous materials shall not be approved
prior to obtaining a CLOSURE PERMIT.
