The purpose of our review was to confirm that our geotechnical engineering recommendations have been properly incorporated into these documents. We previously performed a geologic and geotechnical investigation for the Oak Valley residential development and the results were presented in our report dated December 31, 1997. We also submitted a plan review letter for Lot 8, Unit 1 dated December 24, 1998. We reviewed the geotechnical aspects of the revised structural plans prepared by Progressive Design, Sheets 4 and D3, dated December 1998. 'In addition, we reviewed a FAX from Kelly Gordon Development Corporation, dated March 11, 1999. This FAX contained a revision of Detail 14 to indicate a minimum embedment depth of 34 inches for the northeast perimeter footing, as recommended in our December 24, 1998 letter. Based on our review, it is our opinion that the reviewed plans and revised Detail 14 were prepared in substantial conformance with our geotechnical recommendations. Our services have been limited to the review of the documents listed above and have been provided in accordance with generally accepted geotechnical engineering principles and practices.
