Review of resubmitted documents for proposed tenant improvement.
1 Application has been made and approved by the Building Official to exceed the
occupant load of 100 persons for the use of section 3305(8) ex#5. The approval
limits the occupant load to 110 persons.
2 Fire alarm designer/installer shall submit three sets of shop drawings,
manufacturers listing & cut sheets and battery calculations, a completed permit
application and applicable fees for review, prior to performing the work.
System shall tie to the existing building system and annunciate accordingly.
UFC 3 Based on field inspection, the response to previous comment #7 is not
10.601 acceptable. Visual inspection has revealed numerous penetrations and
00.602 unprotected openings through the rated corridor wall on the tenant side. In
accordance with the Uniform Fire Code, these penetration shall be repaired
UBC to maintain the integrity of the corridor construction. This work is limited to
3305(8) that portion of the corridor wall construction that immediately borders the
4304 tenant space. These areas shall be inspected and accepted prior to installing the
4306 ceiling tiles.
4 Architectural Note: A review of building department records reveales that this
