THIS IS ALSO AN INCOMPLETE INSPECTION AS ONLY THE SPECIFIC AREA(S) REFERRED TO WERE INSPECTED AT THIS TIME. SHOWERS/FLOORS: Item 1. Upon performance of work reccmmended in Item #1 on our original report, we found additional fungus damage to plywood sub-flooring running under adjacent bathtub apparently the result of an active plumbing leak within the wall which was discovered at this time. Water was found to run down out of the wall when the tub fixture is operated and apparently has caused the damage referred to in this report and in our original report dated 10/5/89. RECOMMEND: Remove bathtub enclosure and ceramic tile throughout over tub - remove bathtub - cut out and replace all damaged wooden members as necessary and repair plumbing leak in the hollow wall area - reset existing tub and • install new ceramic tile set in mortar on three walls over tub. Also complete repairs per original report which consists of new underlayment, vinyl floor covering and reinstalling existing tub enclosure. NOTE: We assume no responsibility for possible broken, loose or chipped tiles and/or wallboard adjacent to area being repaired which may develop during these repairs. Possible necessary paint and/or wallpaper repair to be done by owner.
