o This property is within a Superfund site
o Phase I and II reports indicate the soil cleanup is complete per US EPA
standards
o Groundwater will be undergoing remediation measures for several more
decades
o The extraction equipment is enclosed and is in a 90' Water District easement
area allowing US EPA and the Regional Water Quality Control Board access
to the groundwater treatment system

o Onsite parking currently exceeds the requirement for a proposed general
office development

o All of the trees around the perimeter will be retained

o Want to attain a LEED Silver certificate for the construction and design
o Landscaping includes grassy swails and other erosion control methods
o Recycling of existing asphalt, sidewalks, curbs and gutters to the maximum
extent
o Neighborhood meeting should be scheduled with neighbors in the City of
Santa Clara
