' This house is located in a well established area just southerly of Stevens Creek Boulevard and westerly of Miller Avenue . The building was . constructed aboui 1960. The structure is a single story one family residenceithat is stuccocladwith a heavy shake roof. There was a porch at the back of the building. This area is approximately 121 feet by 12 feet . ' This porch was altered in 1966 . Walls were erected on two sides and the existing ex- terior walls were removed. The roof is a premanufactured 2x4 truss roof and ceiling. It was installed over the porch in the existing construction. The floor has a 4x6 girder system on a 4x6 ' grid with plywood flooring. The new construction has a standard T jfnund,at. i.on. ' A building permit has not been located for this work. A screen room was constxucted in 1968at the rear of this addi- tion and a building permit was found for this construction. I have inspected this addition and find that the construction substantially conforms with the Uniform Building Code ap- plicable at the time of th"is alteration.
