ORDINANCE N0. 1298
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO AMENDING
SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE N0. 2 BY REZONING
APPROXIMATELY 2.85 GROSS ACRES FROM R1-10 AND R1-10AG ZONES TO
BQ ZONE; LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF STEELING ROAD
APPROXIMATELY 125 FT. SOUTH OF PEPPER TREE LANE
WHEABAS, on March 1, 1985, an application was filed by the Corporation
of the Presiding Bishop of the Churnh oP Latter-Day Saints - A Utah
Corporation (Application 5-Z-85) for the rezoning oP property from R1-10
(Residential Single-Family, 10,000 aq. Pt. minimum lot size) zone and
R1-10AG (Residential Single-Family, 10,000 aq. ft. minimum lots size,
agricultural use allowed) Zone to BQ (Quasi-Public) zone; and
WHEREAS, upon due notine and after one public hearing the Planning
Commission recommended to the City Council that the Rezoning be granted;
and
WHEREAS, the property to be rezoned is presently in an R1-10
(Residential Single-family, 10,000 sq. ft. minimum lot size) zone and an
R1-10ag (Residential Single-family, 10,000 sq. ft. minimum lot size,
agricultural sue allowed) zone; and
WHEREAS, a map of the sub~eot property is attached hereto as Exhibit
"B" as a proposed amendment to the Master .Zoning Map of the City of
Cupertino.
NOWT THEREFORE, HE ZT ORDAINED A3 FOLLOWS:
Section i. That the property described in attached Exhibit "A" be .and
hereby is rezoned to a BQ (Quasi Public) zone, sub~eot to conditions
listed Sn attached Exhibit "C"; and that Exhibit "B" attached hereto is
made part of the Master Zoning Map of the City of Cupertino.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty
(30) days after its passage.
