ORDINANCE N0. 1428
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO AMENDING
SECTION 11.24.150 OF THE CUPERTINO MUNICIPAL CODE TO
PROHIBIT PARKING ON TORRE AVENUE AND PROVIDING FOR
SICNS NOTIFYING THE PUBLIC AND DECLARING THE URGENCY THEREOF
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO DOES HEREBY ORDAIN that
Section 11.24.150 of the Cupertino Code be amended to delete the followings
Section 11.24.150 Parking Prohibited alone certain streets.
Street Sides of Street Portion
Torre Avenue Both Between Stevens Creek
Boulevard and a point
220 feet southerly thereof.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO DOES HEREBY ORDAIN Chat
Section 11.24.150 of the Cupertino Code be amended to include the following:
Section 11.24.150 Parkins Prohibited alone certain streets.
Street Sides of Street Portion
Torre Avenue Both Between Stevens Creek
Boulevard and Rodrigues
Avenue.
URGENCYs Thie ordinance shall take effect immediately upon enactment
as an urgency measure due to the urgent necessity to improve the safety of
this street. It is hereby found and declared that this urgency measure
is necessary for the health, safety and general welfare of the inhabitants
of the City of Cupertino.
INTRODUCED AND ENACTED at a regular meeting of the City council of the
City of Cupertino this 19th day of October , 1987. by the
