A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
COUNTY OF SANTA CLARA AND THE CITY OF CUPERTINO FOR PAVEMENT
MANAGEMENT PROGRAM FUNDING
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council a proposed cooperative
agreement between the County of Santa Clara and the City of Cupertino pursuant to and in
furtherance of "Measure A" and "Measure "B", which provide for sales tax revenues to fund
certain transportation improvements; and
WHEREAS, the County of Santa Clara has preliminarily established the
Pavement Management Program to implement certain goals of Measure A and intends to adopt a
plan for expenditure of Measure B funds; and
WHEREAS, the provisions, terms, and conditions of said agreement have been reviewed
and approved by the Director of Public Works and the City Attorney.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Cupertino
hereby approves the agreement and authorizes the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute said
agreement on behalf of the City of Cupertino.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Cupertino this 3rd day of May, 1999, by the following vote:
