Ordinance 1637 ORDINANCE NO. 1637 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO AMENDING TITLE 19, ZONING OF THE CUPERTINO MUNICIPAL CODE THE CUPERTINO CITY COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS that the following sections of the Cupertino Municipal Code shall be amrnded to read as follows: Title 19 Ta>niOY Titk Page -Page 569 19.44 Planned Development (PD) Zones 19.4$ Planned Development (PD) Zones Chapter 19.08.030 - Definitions. Page 575, 4th Pangnph "Basement" means that portion of a building between floor and ceiling, which is partly below and partly above grade, but so located that the vertical distance from grade to the floor below is less. g~aa than the vertical distance from grade to ceiling. Chapter 19.08.030 - Deflnitloos. Page578 - 2nd column Chapter 19.08.030 -Definitions. Page 578 "Gross floor area" means the total area of all floors of a building measured to the outside surfsca of exterior walls, and including the following: 1. Halls 2. StaiFweys Base of stairwells 3. j~-of elevator shafts 4. Services and mechanical equipmrnt rooms; 5. permanrntly roofed, but either partially enclosed or unrnclosed, building features used for sales, service, display, storage or similar uses. Page 585 "Story" means that portion of a building included betwern the surface of any floor and the surface of the next floor above it, or if there is no floor above it then the apace betwern the floor and the telling next above it.
