A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SETTLEMENT OF PARCEIS
12-I AND 12-II IN THE SUM OF $9,000.00, IN-
' CLUSIVE OF INTEREST
DE ANZA STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT~ N0. 66-~
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Cupertino,
California, that
WHEREAS, a proposed settlement has been effected in that
certain action entitled "CITY OF CUPER2IN0 v. JOHN C. HUNTER, et
al~", filed in the Superior Court of the State of California, in
ar.d for the County of Santa Clara, Action No. 191604, for the taking
' of the estates and interests more particularly described in the
above entitled action in and to Parcels 12-I and 12-II, in the sum
of $9,000.003 inclusive of interest,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS FOUND, DETERMINED and ORDERED that
the attorneys of record for said City in the above entitled action
be, and they are hereby, ~uthori2ed to effect the settlement afore-
Sa1d for said Parcels 12-I and 12-II, and to execute and deliver in
behalf of this City all documents of every kind and nature neces-
sary or convenient to accomplish this purpose.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that theTreasurer of the City of
Cupertino draw his warrant, payable to the Santa Clara County Clerk,
in the sum of $4,975.00, which said sum represents the difference
between the security deposit previously deposited with the Court
for said parcels and the agreed award for the acquisition of the
property aforesaid, and to deliver said warrant to the attorneys of
record, Wilson, Jones, Morton & Lynch, 630 North San Mateo Drive,
San Mateo, California 94401.
