The project data summary Form 1 (copy attached) shows a maximum allowed bonnet capacity of (1.3 x 64,801) + (3711 x 10) = 121,351 btu/hr. The allowed bonnet capacity should be calculated as 1.3 x (64,801 + (3711 x 10)) = 132,484 btu/hr. The furnaces installed are manufactured by Day & Night, model numbers and • ratings as follows; Upflow furnace: Model #395CAV036055. 53,000 BTUH output, 74.2% CSE Horiz. furnace: Model #376CAVO48075, 75,000 BTUH output, 7.5.5% CSE The combined output rating is 128,000 BTUH, which is below the correct maximum allowed bonnet capacity of 132,484 BTUH. Both furnaces are certified by the California Energy Commission although not listed in the Directory.
