With vour authorization, ENGEO Incorporated performed special inspections related to the seismic
frame installation at the subject p(operty location in Oak Valley in Cupertino, California. This
report is submittal in accordance with Chapter 17 of the Uniform Building Code,
Observation services was provided using the approved plans for the following:
• Shop welding of the seismic fnumes,
• Field welding of the seismic frame moment :unnections.
Field welding of the Manning straps.
• Crroutiug of the base plates.
To the best of our knowledge and based on our observations, the work requiring special inspection
is in conformance with the approved plans, field recommendations of the Structural E111fineer, and
the applicable workmanship prori:401 s of the Uniform Building Coda.
We make no representation as to the accuracy of dimensions, calculations or any portion of the
design for this project.
