A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
MAKING ITS ORDER DESCRIBING THE BOUNDARIES DESIGNATED AS
"PR.ADO VISTA 76-6" TO BE ANNEXED TO THE CITY AND ORDERING
ANNEXATIONS TO THE CITY WITHOUT PUBLIC HEARING AS PRO-
VIDED BY LAW; APPROXIMATELY 1.302 ACRES, LOCATED ON THE
SOUTH SIDE OF PERMAIVENTE ROAD BETWEEN LOCKWOOD AND
PRADO VISTA DRIVES
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited
Territory Act of 1939, proceedings have been initiated by the City Council,
at the request of all owners of the real property situate in the property
hereinafter described, on its own m4tion to annex to the City all that
uninhabited territory situate in the County of Santa Clara, State of California
hereby designated as "Prado Vista 76-6"; and
WHEREAS, the Santa Clara County Local Agency Formation Commission, by '
Resolution No. 76-153 adopted the 4th day of August, 1976, has authorized the
City of Cupertino to annex the territory described in Exhibit "A", and as
shown on the map in Exhibit "B", designated as "Prado Vista 76-6", without notice,
hearing or election in accordance with the District Reorganization Act of 1965; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is to the best interest of the City
~ and of the territory proposed to be annexed that the territory be annexed without
public hearing; ~
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the territory described in Exhibit "A"
and as shown on the map in Exhibit "B", attached hereto and made part hereof, is
hereby annexed to the City of Cupertino.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of

All that certain real property situate in the County of Santa Clara, State of
California, more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the point of intersection of the southerly line .of Permanente Road
(40.00 feet in width) with the easterly line of Lockwood Drive (40.00 feet in
width) as said road and drive are shown upon that certain map entitled, "Tract ~
No. 1034 Carolyn Gardens Unit No. 2" whic~ map was filed for record in the office
of the Recorder of the County of Santa Clara, State of California on August 12,
1952 in Book 40 of Maps, at page 8; running thence S. 0° 10' E., along said easterly
line of Lockwood Drive, 463.00 feet to the intersection thereof with the prolongation
westerly of the northerly line of Lot 1, in Block 3, as shown upon said map; thence
running S. 89° 55' E. along said prolonged line and along the northerly line of
Lot 1 in Block 3, 166.22 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING;
Thence from said TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING N. 0° 10'W, along a line parallel to~the.
easterly line of Lockwood Drive, as said drive is shown upon said mentioned map, a
~ distance of 231.50 feet to a point on a southerly line of that certain parcel of
land annexed to the City of Cupertino by Ordinance No. 390, entitled "Permanente
67-6". ~
Thence along said southerly line of said annexation S. 89° 55" E., 198.50 feet to
the centerline of Prado Vista Drive, as said drive is shown upon said map;
Thence northerly along the centerline of Prado Vista Drive N. 0° 10' W., a distance
of 126.97 feet to the intersection thereof with the prolongation westerly of the
southerly line of Lot 1, in Block 4, as shown upon said map;
Said centerline and prolongation also being the easterly and southerly boundary of
annexation Permanente 67-6; thence easterly along said prolonged line S. 89° 50' E.,
30.00 feet to the easterly line of Prado Vista Drive;
Thence S. 0° 10' E., 358.47 feet along said easterly line of Prado Vista Drive to
the intersection thereof with the prolongation easterly of the northerly line of
Lot 7, in Block 3, as shown upon said map;
Thence running N. 89° SS' W., 228.50 feet along said prolonged line to the TRUE POINT
OF BEGINNING.
Containing 1.302 acres, more or less.
